I create beautiful and precise visual stories.
The common thread throughout my career is using infographics, illustrations, animations, and data visualizations to enlighten, engage, and inspire. I research, report on, and interpret complex information, making it approachable through compelling visual storytelling.
As a manager of graphic production at National Geographic, I create visual content for the magazine’s print and digital platforms in collaboration with designers, developers, and researchers. I also lead a team of associate graphic editors, ensuring that maps and graphics meet precise print production standards.
My formal education in biology and science illustration preceded my doctoral studies, where I focused on digital media research in natural history museum settings. This reflects my multidisciplinary interests—science, art, and technology—in advancing science education and communication.
