Texas Oil and Gas

This exhibit at the Bullock Texas State History Museum explores the past, present, and future of the oil and gas industry in the state and how it impacts the United States and the world. The museum commissioned multiple large scale graphic panels explaining processes, geology, and distribution that are on display side by side with a rich variety of objects such as rock samples and drill bits. A real size operating oil jack pumps up and down at the same time the animation below illustrates the underground activity at 9000 feet deep.
